upnorth
I hope they've redone a few parts and fixed some fit issues from the original release. If there was ever a 1/72 kit that justified cast brass landing gear legs, this kit is it. I hope one of the aftermarket outfits that does that sort of thing will make a set for it.

Michael Morris
Great news. I've put one on back order. However, what I'm really after is the US marine corps version. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/special-hobby-sh72172-c-37c-deuce-usmc--112201

I wasn't familiar with this version so just looked it up. They somehow managed to make a very strange-looking helicopter look even stranger! 2
Robertone139
You should check out its skycrane development the Sikorsky S-60.

Beware, the auxiliary fuel tanks are wayyy oversized.

Wouldn't use very much of the CH-37 kit though!

All the important parts, the rest is easily scratchbuilt. The cockpit though is different from all other Sikorsky models and looks closer to a Chinook cockpit glazing. Total cost hits the 100 quid ceiling! I've spent that on a Zvezda Mi-26 in the stash but it's worthwhile, and especially for this kit. I had the marine version and chickened out of building it. To do this kit justice it needs the nose open and a scratch built interior.
