pg265
Hi Mates, Something a bit different, but a dream machine: what else?! I hope that kind of kit is allowed in this section. Tapping, cutting, drilling… Studs and gasket… Preparing, checking, testing… Few parts of the alternator. Voilà. Hopping you will enjoy this one… Pascal Edited January 22, 2022 by pg265

capri-schorsch
That's great. Great that this kit was made and great that you got the balls to build it instead of keeping it in the stash. Awesome! I couldn’t have left this beauty in the stash without building it!!! I did some work on the alternator. All the threads are made, the studs and other threaded rods put to the right length, the parts separated from their supports and prepared... The cables will be added to the lugs and terminals as soon as the painting is done. Everything is tested to validate this sub assy and move on to another... or to painting. Here are some pictures. Here. Next soon. Pascal

pg265
Good evening, Thank you! Ron The assembly or rather the preparatory work continues. This part of the kit, the intake, needs a bit of work. It is necessary to be very careful to remove the part from the tree, to remove their imprint... It's not a 45 DCOE, but it's WEBER! Lazy Modeller
Unbelievable work! Does it work? Cheers LM
nick
ooh, you bought one then? nice. The block, oil pan, heads and valve covers look identical to the 308/F40 as it happens. I'm liking the 1/4 scale idea and all the ironmongery/gaskets at that size. I trust you will winding that armature in the alternator! How did he do the rolled bottom edge on the oil filter that looks really nice. Love to see it finished, beautiful kit in fairness. pg265
Good evening, Thank you very much! the bottom of the oil filter is a machined part. The engine stand is progressing quietly. The base is made of 4 square section tubes. They are welded to ensure more solidity. The sturdy pieces are cut and bent to give them their final shape. They will also be welded to the base. The bends are now welded. They are temporarily held on the structure with the Speed tape to give an idea. The wheels will soon be assembled. More very soon. pg265
Good evening, Thanks Adjustments and other blank assemblies continue. The crankcase is installed on the block and equipped with some machined parts, the block with studs and bolts. Tightening all nuts will remove all play/gap. The engine mounts are also bolted. The back of the block is positioned. The engine is then positioned on its stand to adjust the dimensions and permanently weld the side and front supports. More soon.
