Here's my 1/25 Austin Healey 100-6.   It was pretty much OOB , though the wheels and tyres are from an Aoshima MGB , the rear lights are Little Lenses from Little Cars , the front indicators from a Tamiya Mini Cooper S , the chrome parts of the headlamps from a Revell '48 Ford and the lenses from an AMT '53 Ford pickup .  Paint was Halfords BMW Liquid Blue and Ford Diamond White,  these being the nearest readily available matches to Ice Blue and Old English White.

For a very old kit , I was pleased with how well it went together and how nicely detailed it was once the flash was removed .

PK306 MG TC

Had quite a hoot building this, although challenging fit on some parts, took ages due to lack of bench time.

Stripped the chrome as it was way too heavy and painted various metals to finish. Body was painted in Tamiya LP-39 Racing white and self levelling thinners, no clear coat as it dried with that gloss :)

Lost the door handles as well, so they're bent fuse wire and turned out quite well

Thanks for looking in and to everyone who gave tips and encouragement along the way :)

PK-1 Hawker Fury 1/72.

Here is the build:

BUILD THREAD

The parts were rescribed but not modified - they are still very good. Only a Yahu instrument panel and Eduard seat belts were added. The paints and varnish are mostly Gunze, decals from the Xtradecal set - A Fury I, No 1 squadron SAAF, East Africa 1940. I used Uschi "Standard" thread for rigging and "Fine" for the aerials.

PK-33 Saab J29F Tunnan

A lot of filling and sanding with this one, minimising the panel lines in the fuselage, plus I sanded back the raised panel lines on the wings a little.

Decals are aftermarket from Print Scale after the kit decals fell apart. Mine was a Matchbox branded boxing but released by Revell, with Revell decals, as detailed in my build thread here.

A few build errors and imperfections that I should have tidied up with a bit more TLC, but still think it has come up ok.

A bit of a lightning build from me, two days from start to finish. I deserve a pint.

One Me410, reporting for gallery duties...

Built straight out the box using colours as called out by Matchbox. Humbrol 30 and 91 for the greens, 65 for the light blue.

PK-50 Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XVI for the Gallery. I thought it was a lovely kit to build. The sprues looked almost identical to those of the PK-2 Spitfire Mk.IX and indeed you can build that marque as well but it has additional features built in like the choice of normal or clipped wingtips, normal or bubble canopy, slipper fuel tank and of course the option to cut down the rear fuselage, which I did for the Mk.XVI. The smooth wheel hub covers are still there though (I did it wheels up) and the rudder hinge line is still too far forward - I had a go at filling and re-scribing. The kit transfers were excellent and I did the 349 Squadron version.

Here is PK 505 the 1/32 Tiger Moth finished as the radio controlled 'Queen Bee'. For the conversion I blanked off the rear pilot's position and added the wind generator on the port side. As it is on floats I waterlined those and added a bit of rigging.

The scheme I took from the Warpaint book which included a profile and photograph. I quite like the Sky undersides.

Following on from my Wellington build, a Halifax now gets a chance to show off in the Gallery.

A smooth enough build, virtually straight out the box. I did snip the fuel dump pipes off level with the trailing edge though, as I couldn't find one shot of the  type Matchbox provide. That compromise kept the spirit of an out the box build but also kept me happy as the pipes sticking out back looked decidedly odd to me.

I'm more familiar with the later Mk Airfix kit and this build seemed like an altogether different aircraft to me.

Once the black undersides were added and the plane was on its undercarriage it really did start to take on a personality, if that makes any sense. It became a very functional bomb lorry with an almost primitive feel to it. No styling flairs or subtle curves, just pure function. I enjoyed the build quite a bit. So much so that I'll probably build another in Costal Command colours.

Enough waffle, here's the model...

PK-303 Porsche 917-10

Here's my fourth completion of this Group Build , the 1/32 Porsche 917-10 Can Am racer .  With the exception of a little boxing in of the cockpit area  , seatbelts,  plug leads and a set of decals from Indycals , it was OOB .  Paints were a mix of Halfords , Tamiya , Alclad , Humbrol and Vallejo .

Finally finished this one, it's one of the most fiddly and fragile models I've ever built, if I'd have tried when I was younger I don't think I would have had the patience or the superglue to complete it. It's been difficult at best and has fought me all the way, but as it was the only one in the GB I needed to finish it.

The paint is Tamiya laquer paints and acrylics for the hairy stick bits. I coated the decals before with microscale decal film and they held together well, I know they're yellowed, but they are what they are as I couldn't source any that would deliver to the UK and I hadn't got the skills or experience to print my own. I haven't gloss coated them for 2 reasons, 1 being that I have no idea how they'd react and 2 I might find or print more decals in the future, so they'll be easier to remove.

I've enjoyed the GB and am glad to have added my 2 builds to the pot so to speak, there are a lot of other super builds that have bought back happy memories :)

PK-51/40051 Focke Wulf Fw190 A-3/A-4/R6.

Taking my completed builds for this GB is this brace of butcher birds. Painted OOB with a combination of Aeromaster, Xtracolor and Humbrol paints. The a-3 had been started back in 1991 so it was nice to get it finished at last. Link to build thread here.
