Zigomar
Good year to you all despite the persistent clouds overhead! So my first kit for 2022 is the Bloch 152 from Dora Wing in 48th. It will be my last as I have already done a Greek 151,and early 152 a late 152 (on commission) and another late 152, this one for my own. It is not an easy kit but dimensions and details are OK so it is up to your skill and documentation to raise the level of detail. The Rennaissance set gives you the flaps which are always down on the ground because of the gazoline vaps, a much better seat and individual exhausts for the 151 and early 152. The 20mm guns are made from copper tubes, the kit's one are undersized. The ejection holes under wings were open and reduced in size and that's make a difference! I did vac the sliding part of the canopy, add the rails for it, riveted the whole kite, painted all the roundels but used the kit decals for a plane of the GC I/8 in 1940. The plane crashed on take off on April the 20th, pilot Second Lt Lamaison serial n° 236 with a cool patchy camo not often seen on the 152. The colors are what l'Armée de l'Air used and paints are all Gunze stuff. Feel free to comment, cheers.
