yes, a new Jaguar GR1/3 was for two years in the catalogue reported ad News from new tools some years ago. Anyway it was cancelled.  May be is it possible the project has change scale and a Jaguar is in the line as new 1/32 subject ? After the Mirage III, the F 104 and Tornado ... why not?

Time flies, think it was announced in 2012, stayed in the catalogue for a couple of years then disappeared without comment. Wonder if the arrival of the KittyHawk kit made them change their mind?

Well, once the KH kit was released, it should have strengthened Italeri's will to release a new kit, methinks...

I'm hoping the 1/32 modern ground support personnel set finally emerges.

As I'm sure you know, Tony, we were first promised this ground-crew set about 4 or 5 years ago and still there's no real sign of it. I think it might have become an "urban myth" now, unfortunately. If you haven't already, check out Reedoak and Video Aviation for ground-crew figures (expensive, but VERY nicely made).

Cheers.

Weren't they supposed to release a new tool 1/48 Jaguar GR1 a couple or three years ago?

Kit #2714 was announced in 2012 as "100% new tool", with "Super Decals" sheet with RAF and IAF markings. One of few dozen kits announced and still not released.

Yep, set #2511 "NATO Pilots, Ground Crew and Accessories" was announced in 2017 together with #2506 (F-35A) and #2513 (Tornado GR.4) and is still missing in action.

Had the ESCI 1/48th Jaguar and Tornado back in the late 70's, very clunky kits but the Mirage F-1 was awesome. Still have a few F-1's in the stash plus one of the Italeri reissues.

Dear Friends, we are proud to present our “Model Kit Preview” including all new scale model kits that we will release during 2022.

For us it will be an important year and we are ready to celebrate 60 years of activity and passion in the scale model World. To celebrate the important event, here is a brief summary of the most important product news. In the first part of the year, we will release the highly demanded truck Scania S730 Highline 1:24 scale which will be characterized by a high level of details and “state of art” quality. We will enlarge the range of our scale model cars that have made the racing history. After the success of the Fiat Mefistofele, the 806 and the Alfa Romeo 8C we will present another myth on four wheels: the Bugatti Type 35B 1:12 scale. Great attention to the world of aircrafts. We will release the AMX Ghibli 1:72 scale, the highly detailed fifth generation fighter F-35B Lightning II 1:48 scale and, historically recognized for its advanced aeronautical design, the Italian WWII fighter Macchi MC 202 Folgore in  1: 32 scale. For military vehicles in 1:35, another important kit , dedicated to the tank T-34/76 mod. 43., will be released.  These are just some news but you can find all details in our “2022 Preview” that you can easily download

  • Homebee changed the title to Italeri catalogue 2022 - new, reissue, repop, rebox etc.

Glad to see some models reissued and very interesting to see the 1/72 AMX and the 1/32 Folgore on their catalog.  I'm pretty sure they will make really nice kits of these since they are from the home team....

Including the two versions of the Mercedes Benz 190E - the standard and the Volvo-built version.

I spotted that too.  One of the problems of copy & paste to get the formatting the same... remembering to change the text
