gee it did take a bit of surgery to fit those intake...... though probably way less than to fit the cockpit tub!

intake fit was no drama at all.... 2 small cuts in an area not visible afterwards is quite doable ;)

fit now looks rather good, no glue yet ;)

I am not so happy with the diameter of the Attack Squadron nozzles a bit big...., that are intended for the Kinetic kit though ;)

they'd look nice though and not underscale and overly open like the Aires nozzles...

lets see if I can use them...

  • 1 month later...

some of you might have noted that the build kind of stalled...

for the past month and a half.....

reason being the resin nozzles,... that just are too big in diameter... not their fault, they are intendet for the Kinetic kit anyways....

took some time, and as I ordered parts for the Frogfoot anyways, I also ordered another set of nozzles... this time for the Hobbyboss kit.... that supposedly is a clone of the Hasegawa kit ;)

one has to take chances, no? !

this time Reskit 🇺🇦, fit is perfect! detail as well

for those interested...

left Attack Squadron (now sold by Brengun)(for Kinetic),. right Reskit, for Hobbyboss

both have pros and cons, both are nice, both are better than the kit effort :)

more stuff :)

flaps are a bit complicated in design, the kit's age can be clearly seen! still they look great, and even more so deployed :)

as this is my first Hase Hornet, I especially like the white metal landing gear legs :)

As you all can imagine, this one is not going to cross the finishing line tomorrow.... :(

I am currently having some issues with fitting the HUD under the canopy....

But one day....  after Easter maybe...

:)

Thanks everybody for all your inspirational build threads!!
