SimonL
First completion for 2022! Picked this up just before the Christmas vacation. Ideal as a quick project. Completed out of the box as a tank of the Australian 1st Armoured Division based at Puckapunyal Camp in central Victoria, Australia in 1942. Brush painted with Tamiya Acrylics and finished with a variety of Army Painter washes and diluted Italeri Acryl Dark Earth to obtain a nice dusty appearance. Build thread can be found here. For those that are interested, Puckapunyal Camp is still an active Australian military installation: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puckapunyal Thanks for looking. 32

Bullbasket
Nice work Simon. It makes a change to see one of these in markings other than US or British. Nice one. John.
vytautas
Looks really good! I especially liked the tower, it looks like real, with casting texture, painting, dust, and so on. Vytautas
SimonL
Thanks for the kind feedback! John - I was sorely tempted to do the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry tank, but in the end couldn’t resist an Aussie one. Vytautas - thanks, I am very happy with the effect I managed to get.

Watto64
Very nicely finished in a dusty tone - I do like (what I call) minimalist weathering where it looks used but not overly bashed and dinged!!!
Buzby061
I think you can be justly pleased with that one! The last Grant I did was the Monogram 1/32 version. Showing my age now! Pete

MRMRL
I really love this, the texture of the finish is brilliant, subtle but still looks used and in a realistic way.
IanC
A nice, subtle weathered look. Impressive, especially considering you were brush painting Tamiya paints.
