Popular Post doxasg
Dear fellow modellers, this is my latest construction an RF-84F provided by TanModel in scale 1/48. It took me almost two years to finish it but I believe it worth the effort for the final result. This model represents an RF-84F in Hellenic Air Force duty which served from 1956 until 1991. Some of inspiration and ref pics below: For this construction I used: Airbrakes and Exterior photo etched metal parts for F/RF-84F provided by Extra Tech (EX 48045), for cockpit photo etched by Reheat Models (RHO96), cameras detail set by CMK (4333), part of engine for F-104G by CMK (Q 48029) and decals from ICARUS DECALS (48012) and of course I lot of scratch building on model sections as the rear part of fuselage trailer, the interior engine detail from the rear part of fuselage, part from the engine J65-W-3, ammo and gun bay on the wings, avionics bay and final I rebuild the interior from the cameras bay. All this construction step by step provided on this site: https://www.modelclub.gr/forums/index.php/topic,35695.0.html Thanks for viewing. Vingtor
Very well done model, indeed! 👍 However, although "breaking it up" this way makes it somewhat lose its beautiful lines.... I have the kit myself, as well as some aftermarket stuff. Hope to build it before too long. Nils

72modeler
Yowzah! I like everything about this diorama! The RF-84F is gorgeous, as are all the other parts of the diorama, including the base. I think you have captured perfectly the weathered/scuffed appearance of the removed sections, especially the parts painted with chromate primer.
