Weirdly, that centre console looks a lot like the face of some robot from a '50s sci-fi film. I can't unsee that now! 🤖

Me too!  That was the first thing that occurred to me when I saw the pic.  Beautiful piece of work by the way, the entire model - the interior in particular is really well detailed.  Congrats!

I have to admit I'm finding this build totally absorbing.  The build quality and attention to detail is fantastic, the results stunning.  I can only dream about producing something this good.

Close to the finish line now. I've printed a few light fittings and added some clear plastic hemispheres to make it a bit more realistic. The insides were covered in cf decals too. I dug around the spares box and found something I could use for a close enough looking wiper.

I don't envy you all that carbon fibre decalling, but it's looking very good now. Only one question - am I think only person who looked at the picture above and immediately thought Dame Edna Everage?

That Hayabusa Copper is somehow very close to Huayra's launch colour, Bronzo Aymara. The carbon upper body package is nice, breaking up the colour, I think it's a better spec than the launch car.

On the home stretch. Wheels painted super fine silver. Front and rear hinges done. They are fixed but look better than the kit solution. It's interesting that the kit includes moulded parts for more detailed hinges but don't use them.
