Marcel
Hi guys, as I have announced here is my Fury bought second hand. A Yahu IP will be added and I also have some Eduard seat belts. I am thinking of a SAAF machine - hope the Xtradecals sheet arrives OK.
JOCKNEY
Goodness me that plastic is lovely and bright ! PK-001 it would be just plain wrong not to have this one in the GB. Best of luck. Cheers Pat

Rabbit Leader
I’m sure I’ve got blue and yellow sprues in mine, must check! Welcome aboard @Marcel, as Pat has mentioned, no Matchbox GB is ever right unless PK-1 is a participant. Looks like you’ve also got a fairly early edition with beautiful Roy Huxley artwork and the original issued coloured sprues, although I think pink instructions were also in vogue at the time. This should be a cracking build so best of luck with a great choice of build. Cheers.. Dave
Marcel
Thank you Dave. I bought the kit second hand and this type of instructions was included. The original ones were definitely pink(ish) as I remember them from my Gladiator, F-5A and/or Lysander.
Marcel
I have started the Fury yesterday - slowly. My test revealed large gaps between the fuselage sides and the bottom wings so a piece of thin plasticard was glued to the wings and some Surfacer 500 was applied: And I also started scribing the fuselage panel lines. Not a nice job, the plastic is quite soft for my scribers.
Franz75
Do not paint it , keep it blue.😀 1

Marcel
Well nothing much but at least there is something inside. A Tahu IP, Eduard seat belts, a leftover seat. Time to close the fuselage I think.

Rabbit Leader
Nice, clear photography Marcel. It makes this wee 1/72 Fury look so much larger. Cheers.. Dave
CliffB
It's looking great Marcel and full marks to Matchbox for the relatively restrained ribbing on the wings
Marcel
A few parts added - it has started to look like a Fury.

Marcel
Thank you. The traces of silver are Tamiya acrylic matt aluminum I use to fill small imperfections. It works but my models look weird before surfacer application 🤣
Marcel
After some time - waiting for PE control horns - the Fury is ready for some camouflage. Black surfacer and base white (both by Gunze) applied.
