Just some detail painting

I added map pockets and latches to the insides of the doors

Some progress. The body tub is just about ready. It was fighting me, It did not want to go together easily

 

 

Rear brakes systems installed. I had to add the handbrake actuator rod. I've left it all unpainted here so you might be able to see what I've added

 

 

I've started on the steering system. I'll fit this part to the chassis then add the other parts and the front brakes lines

 

Work continues on the engine. Nowt much to show yet. Just some holes drilled, some levers added. I punched out two small discs for the pulleys

I'm not so sure about the multi-coloured paint scheme though.....

Some progress. The body got rubbed down, light grey primered, that rubbed down and a first coat of Humbrol 14 Gloss French Blue enamel put on.  I had to put it under my special paint drying lamp to get the enamel to dry and harden up. I may wait till I have the body on the chassis before I do another coat of paint. In the meantime I'll rub this down with one of my car painters prep pads
