Meng 1/35 Warrior Op Herrick TES

Recommended Posts

Meng Models kit, built out of the box. The pigments are a bit over the top, but tried to replicate a finish seen in the Tankograd Warrior book. I was going to add 2 crew figures, but run out of steam on this project. I had made the classic mistake of putting about 10 kits together, but not painted them. I am pleased to say I have cleared that backlog and posting a few of the finished articles over the next few days. Thanks for looking.

It's a beautifully built, painted and detailed model but to be honest, the weathering looks rushed. Can you even out the pigments or are they fixed in place?

Hi Bertie, thanks for taking the time to comment. In my defence, the pigments are based on some pictures in the Tankograd Warrior book, which looks like someone has shovelled the dust on. Saying that I do take your point it that it looks over the top. Cheers Neil
