It is as it is: Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese companies are running our hobby. I for myself can only congratulate!  -  and please excuse, most exciting news for me is the Unimog S 404 (proposed for decades inside RoG and again and again rejected) in 35th and I only wish to see it in 48th as it was present on the Westgerman flightlines for different purposes during the Cold War (also on BAOR AFBs?).

All the Best and Season Greetings from Charlottengrad

Though it's still early, looking at the ICM practice with their other new kit lines in 1/48, like Ju 88 and Invader, I'd say it's reasonable to expect the turret equipped IIb version as well, and maybe even Ki-57 Topsy transport version, who knows. :)

Many thanks to ICM for this project!

Oh wow!  This is a dream come true for me. A 1/48 Ki-21 - pinches self.  Just fascinated with this plane (and others) variegated camouflage I saw as a kid reading the Donald Thorpe IJAAF camo book.

ICM, Dora Wings, Modelsvit, and so many other manufacturers - truly golden era for variety and quality today.

Way to go, ICM!

Just imagine if they decide to do all those japanese light to heavy bombers! The Ki-67 Hiryu "Peggy", Ki-49 Donryu "Helen", G3M Rikko "Nell" or the P1Y Ginga "Frances" and a few others. Would be great to have new molds of these subjects, and most of them were never done in 1/48. A new Ki-48 Lily to replace the ill fitting AZ Model kit would be great too. It seems that 2022 is shaping up to be an exciting year of kit releases.

But a B-25 Mitchell might fit better into ICM's scheme of models of airplanes that allow a plethora of kits of different versions.

Also very widely used by the VVS, Both C and D, as well as J versions, plus some postwar use, and some experimental modifications as well.

Glad to hear about this, as I've just reviewed the 1:72 version, and it's a nice kit.  Linky.

Thanks for your review Mike, very useful I just saw the 72nd scale thread and this was just perfect.  Interesting templates for masking.
