Oooooo that's looking great Alistair,  fantastic work, again!!!

Chris

Thanks Chris,

The reboot has given me the chance to do somethings slightly differently and correct certain bits I wasn't too happy with.

Alistair,

If anything that looks even better than first time around. Definitely worth the dogged pursuit,

Cheers,

Roger

Thanks Roger,

Slowly getting there.

Cheers,

Alistair

Looking very tidy.

That's an unusual looking demarcation line, particularly on the nacelles. Not seen one like that before but it looks great!

Thanks Ian,

It did call for lots of curvy tape and the hope that the Mk. I eyeball was keeping things uniform. :D

Tomorrow De-icing Boots and Lanolin effect.

My vote's for the lightest of light grey lanolins (not that anyone asked 🤣) I did add the merest hint of yellow to mine...

Going to use your Sky Grey/White mix  as the highly thinned grey didn't work for me the last time.

More masking up.

This time for the Lanolin.

I used @Dunny's mix of 60 White to 40 Sky Grey.

So, yet again thanks Roger. :worthy:.

I'm much happier with that than I was with my previous attempt.

Time for a clear coat tomorrow and then stickers again. :penguin:

Thanks for looking,

No de-icing boots on the inner wing sections??

Ian

All the pictures and film I've seen of the Mk.V have the de-icers on the outer wing edge, the tail plane and horizontal stabilisers.

If I'm wrong it is an easy fix.

Such a great feeling when the decals go on and you see it developing,  looking good Alistair

Chris

Thanks Chris,

I was hoping to get the Port and Starboard sides done as well but it's so flaming hot in the kitchen and we're off out tonight to see "Nope", so tomorrow will do.

Cheers,

Alistair

I was pleased with your model first time around, now I’m cocka-hoop.  BTW thanks for that info you’ve passed on to me, I’ve bought some photos to flesh out my my modelling ideas ( future) your date line now makes sense .  Also that broken finger has healed nicely. Thanks for looking ‘cockers’.  😉
