mark.au
I’m starting to think you are a professional model builder, it’s the only way I can think of that you have time to produce all this great work! 2
Dunny
Alistair, Looking lovely. I should have a stern word with that stupid git, and definitely keep him away whilst you complete this paint job - we have all suffered enough! If Alistair can only keep that arthritic git away from his Sunderland, he can finish it faster so he can then get on with his blitz build of the HPH 1/48th scale B-36. Thanks Mark, I'm nowhere even approaching professional. We do 12hr shifts at work and so if I don't work any overtime I only have to work 14 days in 28. That includes a week off every 4 weeks. Lots of free time as long as I keep it quiet and don't get the "Oh you're off, Could you?" call. 9 hours ago, Dunny said: Alistair, Looking lovely. Cheers, Roger I've had a sharp word with the old so and so and he told me very impolitely to take a running one. I will of course ignore him and get on with things. 8 hours ago, Learstang said: My thoughts exactly. AliGauld
No chances are going to be taken this time. I knew that BR First aid course would come in handy sometime. Off to the garage for some EDSG and some lightening. More later. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair 8
bigbadbadge
Be careful this time Alistair, fingers crossed I am sure it will all go well. It was lucky you took the course as thst is some serious masking!!! Chris

AliGauld
EDSG has been sprayed and then some lightening with a drop of Sky Grey. Just a drop this time not making that mistake again. Unmasking done and I'm OK with the result. Just the one wee touch up required. Nothing major. That'll be it for today. Off to get ready for work. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair

mark.au
So far so good, Alistair. Your process of practicing the paint job prior to removing it and then applying the finish job seems to be paying off big time.
