srkirad
I've got this kit from my friend, but without box, assemblying manual and decals, so I decided to do it as what-if, in "retro" livery, as I had spare decals from Crusader kit - 9th Queen's Lancers, 1st Armoured Division from North Africa, December 1941. Painted with Gunze acrylics, but black fields that were brushpainted with Lifecolor matt Black. Wash and dot filtering done with artistic oils, while weathering was finalised with MIG pigments. Headlights were made from Kristal Klear.... Cheers - have nice and safe holidays and Merry Christmas to all BM members that celebrate it tomorrow Srđan
echen
That would have been quite a shock to the DAK!

NMLeonov
Srđan, great build! Your Revell Challenger 1 looks amazing. I particularly like the filter you used to create color variation. Coincidentally, I made a Hasegawa 1/72 Crusader from the 9th Queen's Lancers a few years ago. (Not as expertly as you made your tank... 😄) Happy New Year! 1
Natter
The Chally looks good in that retro livery. It probably won't be long before the Challenger tank itself is a thing of the past...
Carius
Superb build and finish Srdan with a little kit, I love the WWII camo pattern that you used. Cheers
Bertie McBoatface
Your builds are amazing. The last picture with the usb always shocks me because I can't believe how small the tanks are! I like this one, I don't care if it's accurate, it looks MEAN!
Yorkshire man
Think the 'retro' cammo suits the tank, a really nice model there.

srkirad
Thanks mates, I'm glad you like this one. I pretty much respect what-if themes, although I personally am not too much skilled for real what-if "surgery" works - when you have to cut half of kit to merge with some other parts. My sphere of what-ifery is actually mostly "alternative history and/or retro/commemorative liveries", so when I find some new appropriate model, I'll let you know Cheers and all the best in 2022, Srđan
