HL-10
Having picked up a bit of an RAF Bug I decided to go rooting through the stash for my old Airfix Buccaneer. The kit was a gift from my Brother and much to my delight (or torture depending on how you look at it!) there were 2 whole kits in the box so I have a feeling an Early RN S.2 is on the books... This kit however was destined to be an RAF Brick from the outset. I used Pavla's nice little cockpit set to spruce up the interior and a lot of patience getting the rest to fit!! However, once victory was mine, I used Mr. Colour Acrylics to paint the aircraft, and employed pre-shading to vary the tone. Following this I mainly weathered with oils and picked out the details in Humbrol enamel. To finish the model off, I sprayed the aircraft in Xtracolour Enamel Matte Varnish in order to add to the weathered affect. Thanks for looking, Angelo

upnorth
Gorgeous finsihed product from a pig's ear of a kit. I built one when the kit first came out. I got through the build, but vowed never to build another.
Phone Phixer
Very nice build, great job. 216 sqn markings make it look different to normal. A short lived Bucc squadron.
Deano353
Getting this pig of a kit to look as good as this is impressive. Very good work. I'm hoping Airfix decide to retool the 48th Buccaneer.

MBM
Wow, love the paint job and weathering on this especially, cracking job. Sadly I don't own this kit but I've heard interesting things about the construction phase so you've nailed this on. M
