Popular Post BritJet
I built this from the old RugRatResins HS Andover kit and finished it with home made decals for an ETPS aircraft in the high-visibility Raspberry Ripple scheme. The nose boom was scratchbuilt from brass rod and getting the angles and lengths right took some working out. Thanks for looking. BritJet
Thanks, I'm pleased with it but glad it's finished as it was on the workbench for ages. Steve

Lord Riot
Absolutely brilliant! A 1/72 Andover is right at the top of my wish list. I remember XS606 coming into Woodford quite often in the 80’s, and a few 115 Sqn E.3s.
Steve 1602
Lovely - the Raspberry Ripple schemes are really attractive. This is very well executed 👏 Steve

GiampieroSilvestri
Very nice! I like the diorama with the fire fighting vehicles. Saluti Giampiero
Mr T
That looks great. I have the kit, but have been put off by the fact that the fuselage halves don't match. One half is going to have to be cut to get the fin and rudder to match up
canberraman
That is fabulous! You did incredibly well with the masking and the finish knowing how difficult these colours can be to get right. I built the S&M resin C1 a few years back but like others, would dearly love to see an injection moulded kit. How about it Mikromir? k5054nz
Bravo Steve, outstanding is definitely the word! I always enjoy seeing photos of this Andover in the ETPS scheme but to see a model - and such a great one - is a real treat.

BritJet
Cheers, the kit came out 20-25 years ago. I thought it was about time it got built! Steve

coolhand
Hi Fantastic model, love the paint scheme. Is the tail number SX606? If it is I believe I flew on this aircraft in the early 90'a when visiting RAF Boscombe Down with air cadets. Highlight of the flight being flying over Stonehenge with the rear doors open. bentwaters81tfw
Excellent job on that. I have one waiting. Needs a little reshaping in hot water, and some S&M decals to do something similar to yours. Thanks for the inspiration, I must move it up the list. bigbadbadge
Such a beautiful looking Aircraft, your build and in this lovely scheme has certainly done it justice. Great work indeed. Chris
