f matthews
This is a build I’ve been working on in small bits since the Panzer III GB earlier this year ended. That got me motivated to do another Pz III. These Dragon Panzer III kits are really nicely done. Assembly is straightforward and enjoyable. I got to this stage within a few days last Spring then got distracted.
f matthews
A little turret work. And in three sessions (over the course of several months) the construction was largely complete.

f matthews
Filters and washes were applied to tone down the markings and liven up the monochromatic finish. Edited January 20, 2022 by f matthews

diablo rsv
As Ed said, that is an excellent finish, a good example of how washes and filters should be used, they make a big difference when done properly. Wayne

Nenad Ilijic
Fantastic work. RAL 7021 is always tricky to make it look good, but this one turned out great. I love those Dragon kits, but unfortunately they are becoming harder and harder to find. Nenad

f matthews
The tank is now complete. I added tow cleat pin chains, then weathered the mufflers. Finally, I dusted and dirtied lower hull and running gear and installed the tracks. Next up is the display base… Box art often inspires my builds.
