Tamiya 1:48 P-38G Lightning - Miss Virginia

Hi all,

 

It took some time but finally Miss Virginia is finished! It was on 19 April 1943 when Rex Barber shot down Isuroku Yamamoto flying this aircraft.

That Tamiya kit has to be the very best fun you can have with glue and plastic...  you did a fantastic job and I am very impressed with your weathering and surface mottling.  Looks very real...  great job!
