That looks lovely Stix, and your photos do it justice as usual. I did one of these myself recently, purely OOB, but your additions really add something to the model, especially the cockpit.

Very well done indeed.

Ian

Hi Ian. Thank you very much for your kind comments. The in-flight version, I did back in 2016, was done OOB, except for the PE PropBlur - and it really does make up into a good looking Hurricane without any extras.

Kind regards,

Stix

Great photography that really lets us appreciate a gorgeous Hurricane! Continue to be impressed with the landing light framing (and the undersides generally!)

Hi ModelingEdmontonian. Thank you very much for your kind comments.

Outstanding!

I would never suspect this is hand-painted if it had not been flagged!

The weathering and shading is excellent too.

Hi kapam and thank you for your comments, most kind!

Exceptional.   Doing KW Z starter again myself for the second time, this time in flight magnets attached to traditional Airfix stand.

Good idea making canopy removable after all that effort.  Love the weathering ...

Sadly mine won't be anywhere near as good as yours...

Very inspiring. ...

It's easy to trick somebody into thinking these are the pictures of a true Hurricane.👍

Thank you very much Remus389, That's very kind of you to say.

The Hurricane is one of those aircraft that often doesn't look quite right in kit form.  This looks spot on.

Hi Tom. I certainly know what you mean and thank you! That's very kind of you to say.

What my colleagues have said goes double for me! Those b&w shots look like period photos, and I definitely noticed the crud on the undercart fairing doors and undersurfaces kicked up by muddy fields! She's a beaut! :like: The fact that it's 1/72 scale and brush-painted just added to my amazement!

Ah, so this is where you disappeared to. Well, the time was well spent. Excellent finish on the Hurricane. I do believe that I built this one in a previous life.

John.

Hi John. Hope you and yours are keeping well. Sorry for the slow reply - not been on here as much as I'd like! Yes, I occasionally like to make stuff without tracks and a turret!! Thank you very much for your comments.
