Airfix Jet Provost - finished

Recommended Posts

This kit was brought on impulse from the works, having randomly seen it. It effectively flew together - this is my second airfix Provost and they are incredibly good mojo builds. The only problem I had was getting paints. It required humbrol 165, but could only get it in enamel, and couldn't get a good match. I ended up using humbrol 64 which is too dark,  but I don't particularly mind. Thanks for looking

Hi,

I like your work and you are right, this is a great kit of a great looking plane.

I have only heard good things about the Airfix boxing, although I have never found it.

On your next build, you should aim at making the seam between the two half fuselages disappear.

A bit of sand papering and maybe a tad of putty, and everything would go to the next level up. Just a suggestion...

Great job!
