I felt bad for the builder, they must have been rushed for the video. Surely... I mean, if you're trying to hype something you want a really, really good-looking version for promotions right?

Yes I think you're right there.   I still can't understand how Revell made such a botch job of theirs.   A car that's easily available to measure up yet they get the roofline too low and the tyres too small.  

 

The mind boggles!

I know 1/43rd is one of the car collector scales, but I really wish they had stuck with 1/32nd scale for these car starter set releases. Perhaps they were aiming for compatibility with die cast cars
