The Great Escape
I am currently building a diorama to display my RC king tiger as I rarely use it. As it’s 1/16 it’s a beast of a tank so this display will take up a 60cm x 30cm frame. I’d like it to be based on 104 at Bovington which was abandoned in Aux Marais in 1944. Very early days but I’ve spent the weekend taking my dremel to an unusual source. That building is actually a Sylvanian Families house which I’ve repainted! I’m not sure what caused more reaction: my 13 year old daughter believing that I’d bought her a dolls house for Christmas or my wife seeing me take a cutting tool to it. 6
Johnny Tip
😂I tried to build a typical french house, maybe to use for a dio - when my 3 year old saw it, it was hers. she's having great fun placing a little man behind the windows (by now she knows that "man" is called Bernard, but universally known as 'Monty')
colin
I know the Tiger II was big, but not as big as a château 😉
The Great Escape
Thought I’d post some pictures of progress so far: It’s coming along but for some reason I’m not very much enjoying this project. I think as it’s so big… I just can’t put my finger on what to work on next on it.
The Great Escape
Particularly, any advice on the edge of the base would be helpful.
Badder
. Excellent caricatures, very realistic faces. I have no doubt whatsoever that that's Mattius Hancoch, grandfather of a certain British MP, standing proud on top. Rearguards, Badder 1
