28ZComeback
I look at this every week. Was it a hard build as claimed by some? Thank you Mathias.

georgeusa
One of my favorite planes done so well. I cannot believe the realism and great finish of this kit and it only being 1/48. It looks more like a 1/32 model as the detail on it is so well done. How long did you take on just the painting and weathering alone? Wonderful techniques used. I hope you will not mind if I attempt to copy some of the things you have done with my SH 1/32 kit. Thanks for sharing.

Hammer2023
That really is a masterpiece. I had to look closely at the first photo to realise it wasn't the real thing. And then you start to see all the small details... Wow! Something to aspire to!
Ghostbase
V for 'Victory'! This was my father's Hawker Tempest II from when he collected it from Aston Down on 6th August 1946 until he demobbed on 30th April 1947. He flew EG-V on his penultimate flight in active RAF service as well. A beautifully detailed and finished build, absolutely delighted to see it. DrumBum
Hi Mathy, excellent build, very impressive. I am wondering what you use to simulate paint chips? I have been using a fine brush and radomly chipping with tamiya silver but its too....silver and bright. I notice your bare metal is much duller and more realistic. cheers and thanks
