Meatbox8 Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 That looks very interesting indeed. Good to see the inter-war period getting some attention.
k5054nz Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 They can't keep doing this to me! First the DH.6, and now this?! Amazing!! 1

Attachment struts will be slightly modified to simplify assembly but now they have been done and the front engine fairing shape also having been corrected, we're getting very close now! V.P. 2
k5054nz Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Does anyone know if its Droopy Wing Syndrome can be cured with hot water and pressure as we do with other media?

Unfortunately, 3D printed resin sets with UV. Hot water is not much use. I've had a similar issue with biplanes I've 3d printed. 1

It has to be solved at the production stage. Possibly engineering in a reverse curve may help? The FK.3 wing has a similar problem although not really noticeable once it's built. 1
tonyp Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 I've tried UV to cure my droopy parts but all I got was worm burn.☺️ 5
