AdrianMF
Actually, sign me up for another Henschel 126 (PK-26). I have a soft spot for the 126 because in my teens my father and I had a long-running, but never completed, project to make a rubber-powered flying model of it. Regards, Adrian
Possibly Apocryphal
Is it acceptable to participate in two group builds simultaneously with the same model? For example, could I build a Douglas A-20G for this build and enter the same model in the Bomber/Strike/Ground Attack GB? Cheers! Adam

Adam Good question Adam, however you will need to duplicate your posts within both GB’s and I’m not sure other members would want to see that? As we already have two A-20G’s being built within this Matchbox GB, I’d suggest you spread your wings and just build your Havoc within the Bomber/Strike/Ground Attack GB. Cheers.. TimJ
I wasn't going to buy any kits for this GB as I have plenty in the stash as it is but that plan didn't last long as while in my local model shop to get some paint I was browsing the shelves (as you do) and came out with this, which nobody has claimed yet. JOCKNEY
Great stuff Tim Yes I think we all have great intentions of building what we have rather than adding to the stash, it rarely seems to last however I look forward to seeing this one come together Cheers Pat
stevehnz
I been doing some humming & hahing on this & eventually decided on the Buffalo Pk-24 as a subject, place holder thread here. Will be in NEI colours late 1941 early 1942 before they went to the flag style markings. @Rabbit Leader, You might want to update the master list Dave. Tweener
Well I'm in with one more, I've just gone and bought another Gladiator. May have to add a tail hook to this one! Gnat thread should be up this afternoon.
Adm Lord De Univers
Put me down for the PK-161 : Admiral Graf Spee (1977) and Revell's (05117) reboxing of PK-063 : USS Fletcher (1978). Let's see if I can finish two ships. David 1

What's all this not buying new kits nonsense! Yes, although we always tend to say such vile words, the forces of Scale Modelling naturally take effect and we always want what models we currently don't have! Great to see this Challenger MBT on here, I hear it's a pretty decent kit. 17 hours ago, stevehnz said: I been doing some humming & hahing on this & eventually decided on the Buffalo Pk-24 as a subject, place holder thread here. Build List updated Steve and thanks again for filling in that slot. Looking forward to seeing this Dutch Buffalo on here. Cheers mate! 11 hours ago, Tweener said: Well I'm in with one more, I've just gone and bought another Gladiator. May have to add a tail hook to this one! Gnat thread should be up this afternoon. Matchbox's Gladiator is a smashing little kit, so the more the merrier I say. Looking forward to seeing this and the Gnat threads shortly. 5 hours ago, Adm Lord De Univers said: Put me down for the PK-161 : Admiral Graf Spee (1977) and Revell's (05117) reboxing of PK-063 : USS Fletcher (1978). We all know that Matchbox's Maritime collection has been lagging behind the other categories, so its great to see any additional ship kits being nominated here. Excellent stuff!
Rabbit Leader
Rather than regurgitate the GB stats with another post, I've just edited the numbers in the previous post above. There are some sensational numbers going on in this GB and we currently have 164 WIP threads and no doubt more still to come! We have also covered off 70% of Matchbox's entire Back Catalogue of plastic kits (does not include figures), which is honestly truly mind blowing! I hope you are all enjoying this GB and once again, your hosts are doing their best to keep up with everyone's amazing building pace as the days tick along. Cheers and regards.. I know I did indicate that one early on & I may not have made it clear that was now a no go but really Dave, time you brushed up on your mind reading eh? Jb65rams
Just pulled the trigger on a Revell boxing of PK-81 : Panzer II Ausf. Built a 1/35 Tamiya kit a while ago for another GB, so thought I would give its baby brother ago. Will start a WIP when it arrives. 3

JOCKNEY
Thanks Dave Having had a quick look back through previous Classic GBs the biggest previously was the Heller GB with 220 builds and 155 completions ! That was 10 pages of builds, at 8 pages already we are above the previous Matchbox, Airfix and Frog GB's after 2 weeks. well done everyone. Now stop posting Pat and get some building done !
stevej60
What a GB this is turning out to be already, there's not a lot of gaps left in most of the series I saw a Mig 21 fail to sell at less than £9 so now kicking myself, sent a hint for a Fiat G91 to my eldest for next months Birthday it "dissappeared" a day later so here's hoping the Lockheed Lightning is in my sights and yes if a 1/32 109 hoves into sight at a less than extortionate price I'd be happy wish I'd bought the one a few weeks ago for £30 even without it's decals! 1

Rabbit Leader
I quite enjoy helping others spend their money… makes me feel good! Well done Steve, the Build List gaps are closing fast, however there are still some real gems out there that may still not be built unless we get super lucky. Cheers.. Marklo
Loving this GB so nice to build see so many kits I built during my childhood being built again. Although now that I think of it my two entries so far are kits I’ve never built before. I don’t suppose there’s a missing list as I probably wouldn’t mind builds by a few more before June and don’t want to be the tenth fury or the twentieth 109 and there’s a model shop in Dublin that specialises in old kits that probably has many matchbox kits on its shelves.

Not a current one, however if you go to page 1 of this thread, just focus your eyes on all the Matchbox kits still showing in Black font. No one has nominated these kits as yet, If I had the time I would edit this list down again, however time is being taken up doing parent rowing regatta duties and there’s lots to do. Cheers and best of luck finding something old, but new to us… Dave 1

Marklo
Well seeing as the first is on James ‘s street and the second is down the road at James gate you wouldn’t have to travel all that far between them The only caveat being that neither are exactly the most salubrious parts of the city, I console myself by the fact that I am trained in self defence Me, I need a good excuse to make my semi annual pilgrimage to the Dublin model shops.
