LorenSharp
Yes, this is what happens when a Lancaster and a Lysander decide to have kids.... The Westland Wendover. This is at its heart a Hawk 1/48 Lysander mated with an aftermarket resin conversion. Other additions, Eduard Lysander P/E set, Quickboost Exhaust, and and various 3D printed parts I created for extra detail, sometimes multiple times But overall it was a cool learning experience. The WIP can be found here: Thanks for stopping by and all comments , suggestions and bad puns are always welcome! 46 1

kapam
A highly improbable-looking plane and yet I know it existed (from an article or two I have seen before). Excellent job on one very oddball of an aircraft!

Fritag
What they said Excellent work on an aircraft so ugly I can’t make up my mind if it’s come full circle back to attractive. On reflection - no it hasn’t (but the work is still lovely) 1

Homer
Seen a lot of photos of this bird it makes you think if they were inhaling fumes that made them see strange things at the time of conception 🤣 .It looks like an aircraft from that famous cartoon series with Dick Dastardly and Mutley .But you have to be congratulated on your hard work looks just like the photographs well done 👏 2

Buzby061
Must have fallen from the ugly tree & hit every branch on the way down. Great work there, I've seen pictures of the real thing but never a model. Full marks for rarity value. As has been said, you've got to wonder what the designers were on, or maybe they designed it for a bet! Pete 1

Col Walter E Kurtz
Brilliant! This is what model making is all about ... it looked like it had the flying characteristics of a large , heavy refrigerator! Lol. Thanks for showing this! Love it!
