Popular Post IV(AC)Plumb
inspired by this painting, and having been in the stash I wanted another play with the Flory washes and the silly putty masking. This is my take on a 617 Sqn BAC Eagle (believed to be the chosen "in service" name for the production TSR2 Desperately trying to remember the make of resin aftermarket seats? A spare pair of Martel radar guided missiles from an old Flightpath Buck set and a donation of most of the external stores from the Airfix Desert Storm Tornado And onto the finished airframe:

Harold55
Fantastic looking build! I have this kit and the decals in my stash to build it but have hesitated as I can not decide which variation (what-if) to build. But this looks great! tonyot
Very nice indeed,..... I had a similar idea with mine after seeing that same painting,..... but you have blown mine well out of the water,..... top job!
Rabbit Leader
My God that is so good. If you didn’t know the sad fate of the TSR-2’s history, you’d swear that model was a faithful representation of the teal deal! Cheers and very well modelled.. Pete in Lincs
And doesn't it look good in those colours and with all that ordnance hanging off it. Terrific stuff.

Abandoned Project
Loving the wraparound camouflage. Shame it never happened but on the bright side just look at all the "what-if" possibilities we have.

Modelholic
If the old saying 'If it looks right...' is true what a truly amazing aircraft this would have been. And a superb model. What date were you thinking in your timeline? Tom

John
Lovely job. It brings to mind an RAF Yearbook (1976 or thereabouts) that had a "what-if" RAF article in it and one of the illustrations was an in-service TSR2 roaring up a valley escorted by a Hawker P1121. The artist was Wilf Hardy, if I remember correctly. John

(ex)Sgtrafman
OMG - that is so cool, it’s a travesty how quickly the programme was moth balled by a very short sighted labour government…such a shame. Brilliant work well done buddy. Iain

Lightningboy2000
That is a really impressive Eagle. One day i'll get round to building one of mine which i've had in the stash since 2009! Had all these ideas about what to do with that dodgy looking undercarriage, maybe modifying the MiG-31 undercarriage. I did once see a full bubble canopy available for this kit once.
