jonf45
Hi, Had this Hasegawa Corsair kit for ages, had no intention of doing it in this scheme, then remembered that the "A's" didnt carry allover grey!! So, reluctantly built OOB, very basic kit, some of the fitting was awful, and other bits went together superbly!! Finished using the Vallejo "US Navy colors 70 to present" set. No weathering, which made a nice change! The decals were a bit of a pain, maybe due to sitting in theat box for so long 🤣 Anyway, a few pics: Hasegawa 1.72 A-7A 152675-3 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr Hasegawa 1.72 A-7A 152675-5 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr Hasegawa 1.72 A-7A 152675-6 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr Hasegawa 1.72 A-7A 152675-1 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr Hasegawa 1.72 A-7A 152675-7 by Jonathan Francis, on Flickr Thanks for looking Jon 28
canberraman
Jon, A nice clean build of a fairly ancient kit but nice to be reminded of the time when the US Navy high vis markings were the order of the day! Mark
Ish
Nice build! Have a few of 'those' old Hase kits around, some of them are a mix of the best and worst moulding techniques. Your decals turned out well Jon, I'm guessing you won the fight.

jean
Hi, I really like what you have achieved with this kit. And I love the paint scheme. Very neat work. I built this kit in the marking of VA-87, some 20 years ago and put a lot of work into it, A great little kit. Congrats! JR
Fox_Two
It turned out great for being so old and having raised panel lines!

stevehnz
Came up good. The Vallejo Navy colours look good too, at least the light gull grey & white do. Steve.
Jackman
I'm glad you built this and took such close-up pictures. I have this kit in my stash and was contemplating using the kit decals on my Fujimi A-7A but was worried if the yellow decals might suffer from see-through effect. Judging by your build, the decals seem great 👍
