Spitfire Fr Mk.18 1/48 help

Hi all

i want build a Spitfire 1/48 Fr Mk.18 was in service in Far East (X48127 Extradecals), i want start from Academy Spitfire Mk.14 with correction of Daco, i read there some modifacation... on the wing? it's Correct? Please Help Me...

I really would not bother. The Daco does not really 'fix' the kit.  All it does is give you a correct sized nose ring and some new radiators.      Make your life easier, buy the Airfix FR XIV.

I have posted a list of corrections for the Academy, it's do-able,  but a lot of reshaping.

You need the larger rudder, which comes in the Airfix kit.  Troy's right- much better to just buy the Airfix!

 

The main (external) change to the wing is just the arrangement of skins, with some hatches gone and new/differently shaped ones. 

You'll also need to add the camera ports in the belly for an FR.18.
