First the pilot figure has been painted to look like him and reflect his favorite football program. The VF-33 decals were chosen because in June of 1981 the starfighters began using the F-14. That is significant because I was his first born, June of 81. Besides all of that, this was my first go at a aircraft, as well as using an airbrush for the first time. Plenty of mistakes were made, this kit is far from perfect, but man I'm pretty proud of it. This won't be my last aircraft. He does wood working for a hobby and has built a base for it, and having someone do a custom glass enclosure for it.
