Interesting -and creative- weapons load out. Not what we're used to seeing.

 

I too am building an F-4B from a sister squadron of -323, VMFA-115.

Nice F4-B

The F4-B didn't use a center line tanks.   All support alert mission carried snakes and naps.  As you will can they got pretty dirt.  I was stationed on Chu Lai from 1968 to 1970.  The aircrew did  a lot of turn and burns.   Love your model.

@Oldsarge, thanks for the info! I have a few reference pictures that show the centre tank and 6x MK.77 so I just based it on that. Granted they were from Da Nang, but I guessed the principle was the same.  My next USMC jet will have the outer tanks fitted with a MER along the centre line.
