reini
FOUGA MAGISTER, Finnish Air Force, Pori airfield, mid 1960's Kit: Special Hobby Fouga CM.170 Magister (#SH72373) Scale: 1/72 Paints: Vallejo Model Air, Vallejo Metal Colour Aftermarket: CMK wheels Weathering: Tamiya Panel Line Accent Colour Nice little kit of a beautiful plane. I'm not happy with the final metallic colour (already repainted once) - but with enough viewing distance it will do. I was too cautious with the application, the shade is not even. I made some touch-ups with a brush but only made it worse. Anyway, happy to call it done. Kit was nice and I was left with a desire to do another one someday. Some caution is needed with the fuselage fit, though - cockpit feels a tad wide to fit inside properly. Built for Nordic II GB: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/forum/742-ragnars-return-nordic-ii-gb/ WIP thread for the build here:
Terry1954
Nice job Reini! I like the Finnish FM's. I always struggle with metallics, be they enamel, acrylic or lacquer! Each model seems to bring its own challenge, but the more I use them, the easier it comes. Terry

kapam
Top job on that! Always a pretty looking airplane in my opinion. You have certainly done justice to it.
David Koktavý
The SH Fouga is not easy kit, but you managed it really well 👍 I think the silver finish is not the best around over the all world, but with that experience I bet, you will manage to do it next time much better

Mountain goat
Crikey that looks nice. I disagree a bit with your self criticism on the aluminium. I think it looks rather good. It is exactly the unevenness that works here - at least for me. Then again, wanting to become better is often commendable :). But yes, very nice Magister there.
