Reini78
I convinced my dad to give the Aleutian P-38 some company. Because most modelers build the 11th FS tiger scheme, we do an 18th FS aircraft, using a Hasegawa kit and DK Decals. Stéphane
Nice work so far Be careful with the rear cockpit glazing, these are a bit oversized and require some surgery to fit. I've learned it the hard it the hard on my mainstream 😄 Aleutian Tiger. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Ue1Wz6B8vVUvxkka9 best, Stef (#6)

Looks great but needs work.

Reini78
decided to do also the wires from tail to wings DSC_0003 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr the rear windows did cost my dad some nerves at first he attached them with Micro Klear, but they fell out again. then he used plastic glue which, as you guessed, ate into the clear plastic. then he removed the windows, sanded and polished them and reattached them with Micro klear again. also had to do some repainting with brush, which looks now different to the airbrushed paint......well gonna keep the sliding canopy open to cover some of the rear area DSC_0004 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0005 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
