JBr
It's been hinted by a photo of one of their constructors preparing the plane for 3D scan and eventually confirmed at the modelforum.cz by the Eduard's CEO that they are starting to work on a new 1/48 scale kit of the famous Czechoslovak training glider L-13 Blaník. It is a rather unexpected news, but the choice of the subject and motivation behind it is not surprising as Blaník gliders and Trenér tow planes are icons of the Czechoslovak and later Czech and Slovak airfields since 1950s and the Blaník kit will nicely complement the Trenér family kits they just started releasing. The projects is at the start and no estimate of the release date has been given.

Homebee
Release expected now end 2024 or early 2025. Source: https://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=95280&start=39630#p2565971 Quote (...) Z toho mohu odhadnout, že Blaník by mohl být v prodeji někdy koncem roku 2024 nebo v první polovině roku 2025. (...) V.P. 2
Work In Progress
I already have two different 1/48 Blanik kits, but am very happy to have a third. Will be nice if we get separate deployable flaps and brakes as the rendering suggests.
