PaulM
I'm asking two questions here if anyone can help. I've recently bought an rather nice HAD Models decal sheet for the MALEV TU-154 and the painting instructions give a Pantone colour reference for the tail fin which is 298 blue. I've had a look at the Pantone chart and this colour is described as "Cyan Blue." Would anyone be able to suggest an equivalent shade as an automotive rattle can or an alternative spray paint from Tamiya? The other colour I'm trying to match is the darker blue from the fuselage cheatline, because the radome will need to be painted to blend into this. I'd be very grateful for any advice. Thanks, Paul

PaulM
Thanks, I've found a company in the UK who can mix Pantone shades for me and have ordered some spray paint from them. Some more research has revealed the darker blue of the fuselage cheatline is actually "Berlin Blue" and both Humbrol and Revell have paints that matches the shade.
