Trumpeter Lightning F6 72nd - shape issues?

Largely what it says on the tin.  I know the back end is bobbins and I have several resin correction sets.  What else is wrong with it/  I know, probably easier to ask what's right with it.

 

Picked one up fairly cheaply and wanted to know just what was wrong with it.

Here's a start: EDIT:(doh! Exactly what Rob posted four days ago )

It's not like the Airfix kit is really expensive or anything...the Trumpy must have been pence to catch your eye! 😂

Oh where to start? Canopy is the wrong shape, wings are too high and too far forward, belly tank is too bulbous, main undercarriage legs are too long due to the wings, rear end is too pinched, fuselage length is 2mm short. Need I go on? In short, get the Airfix kit or the Hasegawa kit is even a better shape.

I only went to the trouble of trying to fix the Trumpeter kit so that Airfix would scale down their 1:48 kits to 1:72. I hope all you folks appreciate the things I do for you!    

 

Seriously, build the newer Airfix kit. Money well spent and a lot less aggravation.
