Zigomar
Good day all! Another one from the past when GWH kit did not exist and Monogram was the only game in town. Rescribing panel lines, a Falcon canopy and the Eduard photo etch did help to up grade the kit. A plane from the VT-6 from the Enterprise equipped with two eggs for the raid on Wake on the 24 Feb 42. Best regards. Vesa Jussila
Really nice build. I built this somewhere in 80's. Of course without any AM goodies. Was good kit at that time.

Zigomar
As the model was destroyed during the shelves crash, I have to give a try to the GWH kit one of these days. Tanks for the kind comments.
aerotechi
Lovely looking build and finish. And certainly unusual to see one wing up and one down.

ColinChipmunkfan
Excellent build and painting. The photography gives the whole thing a realistic period feel. Well done!! Colin
Harold55
What a great job you have done here. I built this kit also (but not to this standard) and had fun building it. You line up of the corrugated wings looks perfect.
busnproplinerfan
Something about the Devastator makes it a classic, much like a car from the mid '30s. Very nice model, I had one of these long ago. I know the only existing ones are sitting underwater but the navy won't help anyone salvage them, to bad. paulsbrown
Very nice! I'm a big fan of the old Monogram and have saved some of the WWII 1/48 kits with the retractable gear, folding wings, dropping bombs etc for my son.

kapam
An excellent build! Monogram's kits may not be the cutting edge today; but, in their time, they were quite a revolution. Although I didn't succumb to the lure, I believe Monogram aircraft kits of the late 70's really cemented 1/48th scale throughout the hobby (although I prefer 1/72 myself). I do love the figures with your build - were they in the kit? Or did you make them yourself, perhaps?
