Hello.

This is Fujimi 1/24 Rover Mini.

It was difficult to get Tamiya products, so I started with Fujimi.  I think it's a good replacement. 👍

Mini has a cute design and has a lot of pretty colors, so I thought a lot about what color to paint.

I was looking for real car photos and I thought pink would look good on this.

So I challenged the Pink Soldier from the squid game custom painting. ^^

There are not many pictures during work, so it's a picture just before assembly.

The plating parts are also in very good condition, so I only painted the gate marks with chrome paint.

The engine is not reproduced separately, but is a lower whole mold.

I made a floor carpet using a suede span sheet.

The details of the bottom part.

The doorknob is just molded on the body, but it's so bad that I scooped it out with a razor and trimmed the shape a little.

Mini emblems are also reproduced as separate parts, making it easy to work on.

I cut and pasted the side mirror with a chrome film.

I wanted to draw Pink Soldier's "O" on the roof.

I thought it wouldn't be difficult, but the masking surface was bad. I failed in the first attempt and was able to successfully paint the second attempt.

I removed the painting step and polished it hard.

Chrome molding should be painted after masking, but it was difficult to attach because the side to which the tape should be attached was narrow.

In particular, the chrome part on the front and back windows should be carefully dug into the panel line on the outside to make it easier to mask later.

Fujimi Mini is much better than expected.

The details are not bad and you can choose from several different versions to make.

All the small parts attached to the body are made of separate parts.

Next time, I'll complete it and come back. 😁

If there's anything which can be painted pink, it's surely a Mini. That and FAB 1.

I'd like one or two of these kits, but it seems that most Mini kits are probably OOP and hard to find without paying silly prices.

Nice work as usual, Kodiopa.

Hmmm, lovely paintwork again, but I'm really not sure about the colour.... don't think my son would be too happy if I painted our real Mini in that pink!! :hmmm: 🤣

There are more pink Mini in the world than we thought. 🤪

Thank you.

I was actually thinking of painting the 1970 Plymouth CUDA in pink. 🤩

I really hope you can get Mini kits.

That's some top quality painting and detailing, the pink soldier scheme is a brilliant choice and suits the car.  I can't wait to see it all assembled.

I'm sure there was a pink MIni Rose special edition sold in the UK, but that was more of a pale pink.

Thanks Kodiopa for alerting me to the JDM Mini.

Perfect for Moogs personal Mini from Mighty Car Mods Youtube diy series.

Tho' without the Honda 2.4 litre engine. :)

Found one and ordered it.
