Three boxes will be provided. Guess the type? Game starts on Wednesday 17th of November at 06.00 PM Paris time The goal of the game is to guess what will be this new kit. Scale is : 1/72 nd . Every day additional informations on the plane or the kits (three clues each day) will be provided. Remember: AZUR-FRROM mainly producing 1/72nd kits of planes forgotten by mainstream kit makers. We will release a new AZUR-FRROM kit soon ( March / April 2022). Three boxes will be provided. The goal of the game is to guess what will be this new kit. Scale is : 1/72 nd scale. We will give every day additional information on the plane or the kits (three clues each day, so it might be quite fast), we will request the few people who have inside knowledge not to participate and not to give the information to their friends (staff from Special Hobby group are not allowed to participate). Information : Reminder : you may play more than once, but only once in a 'play day' (see below) Rules : Winner in each geographical zone will get a set of these three kits, shipment to our charge (the winner will be the first one to give the right answer, according to the rules). 3 geographical zones : France, Czech Republic and … rest of the world (well -yes- France and Czech Republic are a third of the world, for this game) Game will start on Wednesday, 17 th of November, 2021, at 18:00, french winter time. No answer will be taken into account before the start (so please check what that means in your local time) You have to give the manufacturer and the type, or the manufacturer and common name of the plane. Example, in the FRROM range: Vickers Type 132 or Vickers Vildebeest (Vickers Type 132 Vildebeest wouldl for sure be allowed). If there is a discrepancy, manufacturer and type will be taken (Vickers type 132 Spitfire give Vickers type 132) Answers should be sent by the Contact page of the site Only one answer is allowed per person (so we need your family and personal name) and per ‘play day’ (see below). In case of multiple answers for a person and a ‘play day’, we will cancel ALL THE ANSWERS for this person and ‘play day’ (just in case some smart person might send the list of all planes of all planes manufacturers on first day). Variations in spelling are authorized (dots or dash or blank in type, Dassaut for Dassault), up to some limit Some additional information will be published every ‘play day’ around 18:00 (french winter time), in english first then in french (but page management may be strange sometimes) A ‘play day’ runs from 18:00 (French winter time) on a calendar day to 18:00 (French winter time), next calendar day We will publish the geographical zones in which the correct answer has been given, but not the winners names before the announcement (end of game). We will advise the winners by email We will NOT use the emails addresses for commercial purposes or sell these addresses The game may be stopped at any time. V.P. Nor do they produce kits of very modern airplanes. While that leaves out some of my wished for kits, it opens some wonderful possibilities. Let the guessing begin! But that is the genesis of the brand - French and Romanian equipment, in those markings or somehow related to both countries - that was and is the basis of the whole series. There are literally just a two kits that do not meet this condition: Fleet 16 Finch and Martin Model 139 / B-10. All others, even if not French or Romanian, were used by their neighbours - Belgians, Spaniards, Hungarians or Yugoslavs. Therefore, I would rather look for this novelty somewhere in these geographical areas and in the late 1920s/early 1930s. Not exactly, please do not forget that the biggest was pretty large, three boxes of four engines Farman 223!. Although indeed, the majority are indeed small and historical, related to France or Balkans mostly. If it is French, forgotten by all mainstream companies, and deserve 3 boxes (so different variants exists) it can be Breguet 19 (my favorite), what will be a nice couple to recently released their Potez XXV. But maybe it should be much more than 3 boxes including different long-range modifications (Bidon, Super Bidon...), and a variety of different engines (Lorrain, Renault, Hispano, Jupiter, Cyclone). The second my type is Douglas DB7 (early variant with narrow fin) based on A20 by Special Hobby. This seems to me very realistic hypothesis given a solid base of existing Boston by SH. But three boxes? Maybe French, British and Free French from 1944??? Or French and two British, a regular and Havoc I Turbinlite? My third supposition is series of Fairey Foxes variants, especially in Belgian liveries as follow up to their Renard R-31. Those are my dreams or wish list if you like.
