Cris Garcia
Hi Folks! I'm glad to share with you this fantastic kit. A lot have been said about the new Tamiya Spitfire Mk.I... and I had to agree with all the positive critiques about the new tool. It almost build by itself! Not kidding! A complete delicatessen to my amateur modeller's taste!! In this case, I didn't use Tamiya's decals for the letters as I got ones from an Eduard kit for the Spit flew by the ace A. "Sailor" Malan, as 74th Sq. Leader, during Battle of Britain. Hope you like my approach to this legendary and beautiful aircraft. Happy modelling! Cris. I used AK REAL COLOR for Sky, Interior Green and Dark Earth. Tamiya XF-81 for Dark Green RAF.

keith in the uk
Beautiful job , although a little bit shiny in places perhaps a coat of Tamiya flat would do the trick.

kapam
Fantastic Mk1 Spitfire! Nicely done! In spite of what you said (it builds itself, etc.) I think I'd be hard pressed to come up with a result as good as that. 🙄
