Santiago, as you know I'm always excited to see an RNZAF P-40 build! However our P-40s never wore white squadron codes - I was curious about this so asked @LDSModeller who previously approached the Air Force Museum of New Zealand on the subject:

Quote

For P40's wearing those markings (in New Zealand), the Codes would have been

Sky/Duck Egg Blue or NZ Sky Grey (which is a light blue/green colour any way)

Only exception was the Gunnery School at Ohakea, which were yellow

Hopefully it's not too late to contact Luis and correct this!

Hi

Here are the 3 P40 in progress.

They are based in aerial photos taken in June 1944 at Admore.

The serial numbers are not known and as per the information received from Dave Homewood the ones without stripes on the wings are probably P-40N-1's and the ones with stripes are likely P-40M-5's or P-40M-10's.

Unfortunately, my Father will be able to finish all of them but just one since we do not have all the RNZAF decals. We still waiting to receive them from  Luis.
