ivan-o
Hi happy new year to one and all😀👍 Very little progress at the moment however a bit of track bashing done and front engine covers and exhaust on. 91 links in the track and everyone had to be drilled only another 182 holes to go🙄 test fit of the mortar base. That’s all for now cheers, Ivan
Jasper dog
Interesting project Ivan, appeared to have missed the start but think I've caught up now! Just picked up a early Takom 432 from an actual model shop last week so that'll get stashed till goodness knows when. Good look Darryl

ivan-o
Hi guys, typical AA kit some bits are so small or not cast properly! A new wheel and handle put on and a bracket added at the back. All primed, On to the mortar round rack for the side of the hull, all in the back, The racks are a bit of a job with the big one I will show the stages😏that’s it for now. cheers Ivan oops the rack is in back to front🙄

ivan-o
Another small step, paint on the mortar and side rack painted and filled with rounds and glued in. The rack has been heated up and straightened as much as I dare😗 mortar and BV’s rear rack to do on the conversion set then back to the kit itself and more track bashing😉 Ivan

Hamden
Very nice work Ivan that mortar looks right at home in there, and the most important fittings in place - BV's Stay safe Roger

There isn’t enough room left in there to swing a cat let alone store your personal kit etc😗
Dads203
This one has really come on Ivan, looks like you captured the back end really well mate. ivan-o
Hi, Rear rack is done, the only things to watch out for is parts 89/90 are the wrong way round in the instructions! Parts to be used(all of them) thing to watch here is parts 95 will not fit down the front of the rack between the mortar stowage and the bar on the front! one each of the top and bottom locators had to removed so the rack slides up and down to the remaining locator rack done and test fit😀 cheers for now, Ivan
ivan-o
Hi there, now calling the inside done😀 the conversion sets from both Accurate Armour an d Scorpion miniature models have worked out a treat👍 on with the rest of the basic kit now. heated up straightened a put in the back mortar added, that’s all for now, cheers Ivan
ivan-o
Hi, After I bit of track bashing (still 51 links on the other side to go🙄) I’ve jumped the gun and fitted one side. To get the right tension I have tried to make the rear idlers adjustable, this is an idea put in my head by Dads203(Dan) on his 432 build! where the adjuster goes through the bracket I have removed the locating lug and it now moves forwards and backwards. there is not a lot of movement but here is the end result with a track run of 91 links, very pleased how that has gone😀only the other side to go now! cheers Ivan
