A few days ago IBG Models started a countdown teaser with clues about a future aircraft kit project.

If it is Polish, pre-war, single three blade propeller, and not P24 G/F or P11G Kobuz (as already issued) - it can be PZL P50 Jastrząb prototype or (more likely) PZL 43 Chaika ("super Karaś)...

Naturally I've been trying to twist the clues into "1/72 Yak-9/VK-105 series", but 5 manufacturing plants is too many, and 4 production versions is too few. The number of prop blades is right, though! Ah well - it'll still be interesting to see what it is, regardless!

Well, then you probably didn't understand the purpose of this action. It's not about guessing what it is, but about calling attention it is meant to be. And you can have fun with it, by the way.

TBH I wouldn't expect this kind of kit from the mainstream manufacturers. Even short-run ones are not in hurry to make this one.

TBH this is project for very short run manufacturer, like Sword. And, I'm afraid, too big for the Sword.

Its is a game, but its is also a kid of poll, the answers (apart of apparent jokes like a Savage) tell something about what is desired (not only expected) by modelers.

Four versions: A, B, D, G

Five major manufacturing plants: Dessau, Lemwerder, Bremen, Tempelhof, Bernburg

Three-blade propellor

Two engine types: Jumo 210, Jumo 211

 

Sounds like a good fit to me. Stukas would also fit IBG's usual field of interest. Plus, a new Ju 87 in 1/72 would sell very well.
