k5054nz
Hi all, This original 1971 boxing of the 141 came in a care package from a forumite early last year. Everything was there aside from the tail strut, decals (a Revell Stuka sheet was in there) and instructions, Scalemates to the rescue for the latter! Just a bit of fun and it was - no filling, no sanding, the trickiest part was going through my decal spares. And in case you're wondering about the codes: I did a stint as a radio announcer when I was in my teens and I love Burger King

opus999
And it just occurred to me, I've got the Revell Stuka with "DJ+BK" from 1979 hanging on my son's ceiling!

Reporting your own thread with a note asking to move it is usually the best way to get this done
Remus389
This one definitely grabs your attention, it's special looking. I also like the high quality you brought out of this fifty (!) year old kit
Clashcityrocker
Top work on this one. You've done very well with the canopy painting. Nigel
IanC
Great stuff! I never built one of these, but I loved the box art - weird recce plane can wipe out factories too.
bryanm
Great nostalgia blast - I remember the excitement when it was first released and still have the now rather tatty result on the shelf.....
jean
Hi Zac, long time since I saw a BV 141! This makes a nice change. I love anything Luftwaffe, and this model pushes the envelope, which is even better. Nothing wrong with old classics, on the contrary, although the first thing I do is exterminate all the rivets and panel lines!!!! Total allergy! I love your build! Congrats. Hamiltonian
Nicely done. Happy memories. I've built this one twice. I may now have to build it again.
Allan31
Nice job on that olde plastic, fun to build as we did in our yoot....
Maginot
Good job. It's a striking model. This one takes me back five decades, but I still remember the painstaking brushwork required to hand paint the extensive cockpit frames.

k5054nz
Thank you very much for the kind words, folks! I certainly dreaded the canopy painting but am pleased with the result. It won't win any awards but it looks good to me!
Ozzy
Looks fantastic, I picked one of these up at a show. I hope mine turns out as good.
k5054nz
Thanks Ozzy, and good luck! The only advice I have is bite the bullet and mask the canopy!
Natter
Of its era as a moulding, but it's still a great kit that deserves the care and attention you have given it. A belter.
