Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J Academy 1/35

Recommended Posts

I decided to build something from WW II.  I bought a new model, made from the Academy company. The kit is very nice, it contains a lot of parts. It allows you to build a variant of the tank with a short, as well as with a long cannon. The only minus of the kit is the design of the track links.

Great job, although I might be tempted to have a go at masking and painting the British red and white markings.  At the moment they don’t quite look right to me - they look a more like a sheet or a poster that has been draped over the tank (or was that what they actually were?) - maybe there is still some decal softening to do and I’, commenting too early.

Cheers,

Nigel
