Totally scratch built fuselage of a 1:20 scale B17G "Fuddy Duddy"

Recommended Posts

So glad you got there in the end! A magnificent piece of sweat and hard work, a true scratchbuild in the highest tradition.

I know you had your fair share of helpers, supporters and occasional detractors during the long build, but this is surely a solo effort and something to be very proud of 👍

Congratulations!

I had been following your WIP thread with amazement.

The result is more than stunning, the best modelling I have seen to date.

Thank you for sharing!

I have had the pleasure of following this build from the beginning and can't believe it is over - it feels like my first born child is leaving home! The level of detail is frankly amazing. I am only sorry I won't be able to see it before it goes to the US but at least plenty of others will be able to admire it.

I hope I have helped with my encouragement over the years and can't wait to see what comes next - 1/20 V-bomber, anyone??

It's absolutely true to say that this magnificent build has held my attention from the very first post you made.

I can't praise it enough.

Really, really, well done.

Is it realy ten years? Only seems yesterday you were building the Lysander.

Absolutely stunning build.

Yes ...11 years ago I put the Lysander on RFI!...Time flies!......funnily enough I just recently packed it to take it back to UK!

Thank you every one for all your great comments!...appreciate it!🙂
