Popular Post corsaircorp
Hello Dears, I know, I know.... I should'nt have been supposed to start any new thread in 2021... But I listen to the Mermaid's songs that invited me in a group build on another forum.... And I fell to the Tempest temptation.... More.... I finished it in time.... 2 group builds for me and I finished both 2 right in time... But modelling with a deadline is definitely not my chalice of Trappist..... Why always talking about "cup of tea" ??? Well, at first, I was in for Roland Beamont's Tempest, to add it to my serie... And I ended with this one.... Sqn Leader Macfie's cab, in Wunstorf Germany circa 1947... Really hard for me to resist a HSS scheme... And rockets.... Well, you're not going to believe me but aside an oxygen hose.... This kit has been built OOB On the other hand, these new Eduard moulding are so complete and so pleasant.... It's a treat for modellers !! Painted with Alclad polished Aluminium.... Weatherd ith Flory and oil paint... Weathering kept at minima, I spent some times to mimic the overheating of the cowling around the exhaust manifolds... Banters and comments are welcome Gents... As usual, there will be an add soon !! Sincerely. CC 77

Thank you Dale, Look like a brute of an aircraft, but the Typhoon is a bit more of a dog of war with her thick wing IMHO. 1 hour ago, bigbadbadge said: CC that looks absolutely stunning, great job , love that paint finish and it does look rather splendid in the HSS. Good to see this one over the line. Chris Thank you Chris, I really love the HSS Scheme ! Even on the Blackburn Roc... Now, there still are 4 Tempests on the bench... And 4 Airacobras, I remind myself of it before @Dunny remind me about it... 28 minutes ago, giemme said: Splendid job, CC - probably one of your best so far! Ciao Waow, Grazie mile fratellino !! The only thing to worry about is Sharkmouth.... Brutish aircraft, rockets under the wings, A sharmouth would have been ultra top !! Or maybe a bit too much ??? Thanks Gents for the support !! It has been greatly appreciated !! Sincerely. CC 3

Dunny
That's lovely work Alain - I'm very tempted to break mine out from the stash. You can enjoy that chalice of trappist now. Can I hear the 'Jaws' music playing quietly in the background, or is it my imagination? Cheers, Roger

72modeler
@corsaircorp, CC- they are all luvverly, but Beamont's Tiffy has to be my favorite! Sir Sydney sure knew his way around designing a rugged, handsome single-engine fighter! He is the Alexander Kartveli of Great Britain! What a wonderful collection!
