Hello,

 

My Father has completed another series of our collection. These are the final photos of the Faire Barracuda series. Although the series is not quite large in terms of quantity it is a very completed in terms of not so common stuff.

 

I have been posting incorrectly here

 

This is the final list.

3) Fairey Barracuda Mk II - P9647 used to test Merlin 32 engine fitted with a container as ballast

5) Fairey Barracuda Mk II unknown serial number - D Day invasion stripes
6) Fairey Barracuda Mk with shark mouth. The serial number is our best guess. It is not confirmed.
7) Fairey Barracuda Mk II - LS789 July 1944 fitted with a torpedo and radar.

Very well done. I cannot imagine painting the 18 greenhouse canopies. The Barracuda is quite the flying contraption!

 

Looking forward to seeing the P-40 series.

Yes, it was a lot of work but my father really enjoyed it.
